On this ride, everyone in the club can start and finish together.  This is your chance to meet other riders that you might not usually see on your ride.  We'll have two rides starting together so there's something for everyone.  Some will set off with Steve for the usual 38-mile route at a 16+ mph pace.  Those wanting a shorter ride will join Lynwood for the 28-mile option at a 12-15 mph pace.  All start out together, so you can decide which group you want to stay with as we ride.  We usually meet up near the end when the two routes are back together, and finish as one group.

Starting in New City, we take Strawtown/Sickletown Roads to Pearl River.  The longer version goes over to Rivervale Road and Old Tappan Road in NJ, and Western Highway back to West Nyack.  Old Mill to Valley Cottage. Rockland Lake via Lake Road and then back to New City.

In Pearl River Lynwood will lead the 28-milers across Convent Road to Western Highway, and on back from there the same way as the 38-milers.

The ride starts at David's Bagels in New City so we can enjoy each other's company at the end.  The store is located at 64 North Main Street, next to Shoprite.  If you drive to the ride there's plenty of parking.  Please be considerate and leave the prime spaces close to the stores open.

Average speed: With two groups, pick your pace.

Total distance: about 38 miles with an option for 10 fewer miles.

Route sheets are available at the start, and there's a pace for everyone.

Rain at the start will cancel the ride.  If it rains later we'll get wet.
