Local Bicycling Clubs

Once a month, usually the second Wednesday, the club holds a general membership meeting. The meetings are held either at a restaurant or a public meeting room. They consist of a program related to some aspect of cycling (travelogues, guest speakers, etc.) and socializing.

The Mid-Hudson Bicycle club is a recreational club founded in 1966. Its goal is to enhance member's enjoyment of cycling by offering organized rides and activities and various informational programs. The club promotes and encourages cycling by providing safe, pleasant opportunities to bicycle. Membership is open to anyone interested in cycling, from a beginning cyclist up to an expert.

Statewide bicycle advocacy group. We publish a statewide listing of bicycling events and also host Capital Bike Month.

Search and find detailed information on over 250 bike routes, most of which are located entirely in Connecticut. Several Massachusetts rides are included while other rides, though originating in Connecticut, visit the adjoining states of Rhode Island, Massachusetts or New York. Ride lengths range from 25-100 miles; most are 30-40 miles.
