Many bike clubs use a "ride level" system as a shorthand to describe the distance or the intensity of a ride. This isn't a perfect system...what's the difference between a B+ and a C level ride?
We try hard to include enough information about our rides in the description of the ride, but here's the breakdown on ride levels so you can understand the shorthand.
The club's most popular ride, this all levels ride is for both new cyclists and long time riders alike. Take some casual spins around the lake or head off for the outer laps. Join a great group of riders on this regular excursion.
Details: Join a great group of riders on the club's most popular ride series. This no-drop ride generally involves a spin or two around the inner loop of the lake at "C" speeds, at which point riders have the option of staying on the inner loop or heading to the outer loop for some small climbs and rollers.
The ride generally departs at 6, although latecomers can easily catch up by riding the inner loop in a counter-clockwise direction. It's a great way to get acquainted with the club and a diverse group of riders. Anyone considering joining the club and/or seeing what we're all about -- this is your ride too!

Directions:
The ride meets in the SOUTH parking lot of Rockland Lake (the lot closest to Nyack on Route 9W).
To get to the South lot from Nyack, Piermont, Tappan, NJ, and other locations South of Rockland Lake... take Route 9W North, turning into the South parking lot entrance at the stop light (just past a deli on your right) after coming over the hill from Nyack/Valley Cottage.
Coming from Haverstraw, New City, etc and North... take Route 9W South past the North Entrance and make a left turn into the park at the South Entrance.
From both directions then pull into the parking lot directly ahead of the entrance.
